H. Lauson Kostka has spent over 38 years in the design and construction industries on a national and international level. Currently, Mr. Kostka is in his 8th year devoted to providing advice and consultation regarding design and construction for the Peninsula Papagayo project in Guanacaste, Costa Rica.
Mr. Kostka is also a development team member for the 250-key Four Seasons Resort Hotel, anchoring this development, and Co Chair of the Master Design Review Board for the Peninsula Papagayo Home Owners Association. He has brought to this world-class development a wide range of services including long range planning, project delivery methods, scheduling, budgeting, cost estimating and project management.
Michael H. Miller is a consultant and a senior Counselor of Real Estate with over 35 years of successful experience in real estate consulting, valuation, development, investment and brokerage.
Mr. Miller has been an independent Counselor of Real Estate since 2000, and has worked in international assignments, including Mexico and Costa Rica. Prior to that he was Executive Vice President of CB Richard Ellis, where he was responsible for managing the firm’s multi-market transaction management and consulting services to corporate clients in the Western United States. He was also responsible for the company’s lease administration services nationwide. In 1988, he ran CBRE’s real estate Consulting practice nationwide.
Karl Ermanis is an architect with over 28 years of experience in the profession. Projects he has designed have covered a wide range of size, complexity, and client requirements. He has an extensive background in masterplanning, concept development and architectural design of resort, hospitality, mixed-use and housing projects.
Mr. Ermanis is a generalist in his practice and takes an environmentally and aesthetically sensitive approach to each project in order to provide a design solution unique to each client. He brings together the characteristics of the site; architectural design, building technology, the client’s needs, budget, and criteria to create an imaginative and appropriate solution of the highest quality. He has extensive international markets experience, including Asia and Latin America.
